In 2019 Alison was appointed a Deputy District Judge and took the decision at that point in time to relinquish her role as a lecturer and split her time between her judicial work and the quality management of LLM solicitors.
Alison chooses consciously not to practice as a solicitor on a day-to-day basis so as to ensure she delegates her time to the maintenance of standards within the firm.

Alison has also been working with the firm since prior to the inauguration of the current organisation in Liverpool in 2022.
Prior to that Alison has a long and varied career. She was initially appointed to the position of director within a large high street practice in Liverpool before relocating to London and working in a number of firms where she achieved notoriety in the area of family law. In X she made the decision to move into the realms of education and lectured in the law for X years for those training to be solicitors.
